Meet Levi

Category: Press Pack Article

Age: 29

Location: Wolverhampton

Occupation: Restaurant Manager

Marital Status: Single

Levi will be completely out of his comfort zone living in ‘The Wilderness’, having once turned up to a farm in fresh white trainers and skinny jeans. He describes himself as ‘ruthless’ after being hurt in the past by an ex which made him realise, he needs to look out for number 1. He won’t let anyone get in the way of him trying to rival any leader, no matter how alpha they may think they are. He’s sick of being underestimated by straight men who don’t consider him a rival, but they better watch out! He’s determined to win the money and put it towards a property and towards a surrogate, it’s his dream to have his own child. When it comes to the money, at the end of the day Levi has very little loyalty to anyone in there.

What was it about the advert for the show that made you think ‘that's something I could do’?

The wilderness aspect of it. When I was younger, I used to be a lot more active but as I've got older, I've got lazier so, it’ll be nice to rediscover my youth. And with the whole world going through a crazy time at the moment, this is going to be the year to do things that you wouldn't normally do. I was at home in my one-bedroom apartment on my own for two months and was like, “get me out of here and let's do something crazy!”

How are you feeling about potentially roughing it in the wilderness?

I'm actually okay with it. If you give me something to handle, I'll get on with it and just handle it. I might whinge for a couple of minutes, but then you get over it and just move on. But I’ve never been camping in my life, so this could be interesting!

There's a £100,000 up for grabs. What would that money mean to you?

Initially when I applied, I completely skimmed over that. I literally didn't see the prize money until I got the phone call and then was like ‘WOW!’ It would definitely help me get on the property ladder.

How ruthless are you prepared to be to win the money?

I'm not there to make friends. If you make friends on the way, it's always nice, but you don't start a new job to make friends – you do it to improve your career and make money. I’m not going to screw people over though, that’s just not in my personality.
